There is no consent wall on this site, and that is not an oversight. A consent banner exists to ask permission for advertising and tracking technology, and we use none. What the site does keep is a small amount of information inside your own browser so that your language, your theme and your saved builds are still there the next time you visit. This page lists all of it, explains what each item is for, and shows how to remove it in seconds.
Cookies versus local storage
A cookie is a small value that the browser sends back to a server with every request, which is why cookies are the usual tool for tracking. Local storage stays on your device and is only read by code running on this site, so it is the quieter of the two options.
Almost everything we keep uses local storage, not cookies. We do not set any cookie whose purpose is advertising, profiling, audience measurement across sites or sharing with a third party.
What we keep in your browser
Saved builds and the last result you generated, so the machine you configured is still on screen next visit and you do not have to answer the questionnaire again.
Comparison lists · the parts and the complete PCs you added to a comparison, so the table survives a page reload.
Saved parts, so a shortlist you assembled while browsing the catalogue is not lost.
Display and locale choices: interface language, light or dark theme, and the country used to filter which stores and prices are relevant to you.
Small interface state such as which panels you collapsed, so the layout does not reset itself each time.
Strictly necessary technical items
The hosting and security layer may set a short-lived technical cookie to keep a request consistent, to balance load or to block abusive traffic. It carries no marketing purpose and no cross-site identifier.
If you ever sign in to an administrative area, an authentication cookie or token is required for the session. It exists only for that purpose and disappears when the session ends.
What we do not use
No advertising or retargeting cookies, no conversion pixels, no social network trackers, no fingerprinting scripts, no cross-site identifiers and no data brokers.
The store links we show are plain product addresses with no affiliate or campaign parameters attached, so clicking one does not tell anybody that it came from us.
We do not embed third-party content that quietly plants trackers. Where an outside resource is needed, it is loaded because the page cannot work without it.
How to see it and clear it
Everything in the list above lives in your browser. Clearing site data, cookies and local storage for this site removes all of it at once, and your next visit starts from a clean state with the default language and theme.
You can inspect the values yourself through your browser's developer tools, under storage for this site. Nothing there is encrypted or hidden from you.
Private or incognito windows discard the whole set when the window closes, which is a good way to try the site without leaving anything behind.
Because your builds live only on your device, clearing storage deletes them permanently and we cannot restore them. Copy a share link first if a configuration matters to you.
Consequences of blocking storage
If you block local storage entirely, the site still produces builds and shows prices, but it forgets your language, your theme, your saved builds and your comparison list between visits, and will greet you as a first-time visitor every time.
Changes and questions
