The engine on this site takes a position on purpose: it names a specific machine instead of listing twenty options and leaving you to guess. The honest companion to that confidence is a clear account of where it can be wrong. This page explains how the forecasts are produced, how far a price figure can be trusted, what a used listing is and is not, and where the line of responsibility runs before money changes hands.

How the forecasts are produced

Frame-rate figures are modelled, not measured on your machine. They start from measured baselines for the parts in question, are adjusted for resolution, quality preset, upscaling, the balance between processor and graphics card, memory speed and expected bottlenecks, and are presented as a range with a confidence level.

A range means what it says: the middle figure is the most likely outcome, and the edges are realistic. When our confidence is lower · a newly released part, an unusual pairing, a game that changes heavily between patches · the range widens and the confidence label drops.

Real results move with driver versions, game patches, in-game settings, operating system state, background software, case airflow, ambient temperature and power or thermal limits imposed by a specific board or laptop chassis. A gap of a meaningful margin against a forecast is normal; a gap of a factor is a sign something is wrong with the setup, and worth investigating.

What a forecast is not

It is not a benchmark we ran, it is not a guarantee of performance, and it is not a substitute for a review of the exact model you are about to buy.

Comparisons between two parts on this site are more reliable than the absolute number attached to either of them, because both sides of the comparison carry the same modelling assumptions.

Prices and totals

Prices are gathered from public store pages and public marketplace listings and can go stale between checks. A price shown here is evidence of what the market looked like at a moment, not an offer.

A basket or landed-cost total is an estimate. Shipping, import handling, the way a given store treats tax, a store-side pricing error, a bundle, a coupon or a stock shortage can all change what you actually pay. The binding figure is the one at the seller's checkout.

Store availability differs by country. A part that is easy to buy in one market can be unavailable or carry a very different price in another, and our country filter narrows the list rather than guaranteeing stock.

Second-hand parts

Used listings appear with condition notes and a risk marker, and that assessment is based on the listing text and the general reputation of the part, not on an inspection.

We do not see the item, verify the seller, hold funds, mediate, or provide any warranty or return right. A used purchase is entirely between you and the seller.

Practical care matters more than any risk label: meet in a public place, test the part before paying, check serial numbers and warranty status, be sceptical of a price far below the market, and keep a record of the conversation.

Catalogue data and compatibility

Specifications, generations, release years and requirement figures are collected from manufacturer and store material and can contain errors, or can describe a revision that differs from the unit on the shelf.

Compatibility checks are thorough but mechanical. Before ordering, confirm the final list against the manufacturer's own compatibility and clearance pages · particularly board firmware support for a processor, memory kit support, cooler clearance and case length.

If you spot an error in a part entry, a price or a requirement figure, tell us at hello@pcoptimizer.co.il and we will correct it.

Guides, comparisons and editorial content

Guides, explanations and comparisons are general information written for a typical case, not advice tailored to your situation, your workload or your budget constraints.

Where a subject is contested among enthusiasts, we state our reasoning so you can disagree with it deliberately rather than by accident.

No commercial interest

We take no commission, affiliate fee, referral payment, sponsorship or paid placement on any part, store, game or brand shown here. Nobody can buy a better position in a recommendation.

Store links are informational, carry no tracking parameters, and the order in which stores appear follows price and relevance to your country.

If a commercial arrangement ever exists, it will be labelled plainly on the page where it appears, and it will not be allowed to influence the engine.

Trademarks and copyright

This site is fully independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or representing any hardware manufacturer, game publisher, retailer or marketplace mentioned here. The presence of a name or a logo implies no sponsorship or partnership of any kind.

The material we wrote ourselves · the guides, the explanations, the match scores, the forecasting model and the design · is ours. It may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

Where responsibility sits

The decision to buy, the order, the assembly and the configuration are yours, as is the risk that comes with them. Use the recommendation as a well-argued starting point, sanity-check the final list, and buy from a seller whose terms you are comfortable with.

This page does not limit rights you have by law toward the seller you buy from, and it should be read together with the terms of use.
